Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 10 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 5½ cups sparkling water, chilled
  • Crushed ice

Directions

1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a medium bowl; toss to coat. Let stand about 10 minutes or until strawberries soften slightly and release their juices.

2. Transfer strawberry mixture to a large pitcher. Add the lemon juice. Use an immersion blender to blend until mostly smooth. Slowly pour sparkling water into pitcher; stir to combine.

3. Pour strawberry lemonade into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with additional fresh strawberries.
